Bone conduction that keeps one ear on the world
Bone-conduction headphones answer one question better than anything else in the category: can you hear the music and the world at the same time? On G06 a 17 × 10 mm racetrack transducer couples a dynamic driver to a bone-conduction element and sits against the cheekbone. The ear canal stays open, so a bus you did not hear becomes a bus you did hear, and a teammate’s shout gets through the first time.
It is a coupled two-driver design rather than a single bone-conduction element, which is what keeps the output coherent across the 100 Hz – 20 kHz band instead of thinning out above the mids. Sensitivity runs 88 ±3 dB at 4 Ω, and the platform is tuned to hold leakage down, so the person beside you hears less of your playlist.
It is built for the long session. The 140 mAh cell runs up to 9 hours at 70 % volume, and a waterproof Type-C port takes it back to full in about two hours — no proprietary cradle to lose. A MEMS microphone with ENC noise reduction handles calls in wind and traffic, and the dual-colour LED tells you blue or red without a screen.
At 19 g the headset hangs on a memory-titanium band with dual-elastic ear hooks — a three-point fit that survives sprints and pull-offs. The shell is sealed to IP68, so sweat and rain rinse off rather than soak in. Voice prompts ship in Chinese and English and switch with a triple-click of the volume-down key, and the whole platform — colour, branding, prompts and packaging — is open for OEM programmes.
