The lid is the control panel
Most earbud cases are a box you open and forget. This one carries a 2.42-inch full-colour LCD across the lid: swipe a volume slider, drag the brightness, pick an EQ preset, change the system language, set an alarm or swap the wallpaper — none of it needs the phone.
The screen earns its keep in two more places. Tap it to fire the phone camera as a remote shutter, and use the find-my-earbuds tile when a bud has vanished into the sofa; the earbud answers with a buzzer. Directional transmission angles the output toward the canal, so less of it spills into the room.
The buds themselves never enter the ear. Liquid-silicone arms flex to sit over the pinna and keep the canal open to traffic, announcements and colleagues, while a 12 mm composite-diaphragm driver handles the low end. Bluetooth 5.4 holds the link out to about ten metres and the game mode drops latency to 0.06 seconds. Black or white, with the case good for five to six recharges of the pair.
